Back CRU Goes Bowling

Aaaah, the end of another year... The Cru were very excited to say "Au revoir" to a massive 2007, and let our hair down with some good ol' fashioned fun - the Cru Way.

Reknown for our craftiness with digital design, we thought it was time to unveil our fashion design skills to the world. What better way to do it than with the T-shirts we had custom designed and made for our Christmas Party?

With TJ and Garth's fashion forward ways of thinking, together, they came up with a
tee -shirt design that we were sure would be picked up on the runway sooner, rather than later. ( see the blog entry below for more details!)

At 5pm on December 21st, Cruers stripped off their office garb, and got into something a little more comfortable to step into party mode.

After trading some....errr...."unique" Secret Santa gifts at the office (including bottles of Absolut vodka, Jagermeister, and JD,  5kg concrete housewarming frogs, Penguin figurines, and custom made tee-shirts) and getting into the spirit with some well deserved bottles of brew, we then headed to The Boo lawn bowsl club to show off our bowling prowess.

Sporting our hot pink tee-shirts, and a party attitude to boot, we indulged in Corona's aplenty, a few rowdy games of bare foot lawn bowls, and a barbecue dinner - Not sure whether it was the dusk light, the weird shaped balls themselves, or perhaps the buckets of beers that kept appearing out of nowhere, but it seemed, more balls were hitting the gutter than getting closer to the jacks....hmmmm.

Keen to put our (dancing) shoes back on, and move on, our well connected Flash dude Matt organised Cru's entry to the VIP area of "Alumbrah lounge" in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley (thanks Matt!), where we we stayed until the wee-hours of Saturday morning. Anyone for trumpets and bit of spanish salsa?
